Carnegie Library Field Trip Transportation Grants
The Albany Public Library Foundation has set up a Carnegie Library Transportation Fund which is available for application by GAPS teachers. The Albany Public Schools Foundation is administering the fund. The grants provide funds for transportation for elementary and middle school field trips to the Albany Carnegie Library.

For students in Grades K-2:
Available Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. ** Maximum group size is 60 people (including adults and children).
**Between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. your students will join the regularly scheduled Story Time (maximum group size is 40 people- including adults and children).
For students in Grades 3-8:
Available Tuesdays from 8:30 to10:00 a.m., or 11:30 to 4:00 p.m. Maximum group size 45 people (including adults and children).
Note: With scholarship funding provided by the Albany Public Library Uncorked fundraiser events, all GAPS students and their families are eligible for a free Albany Public Library card. Students must have a parent or guardian present with picture i.d. in order to register for a card.
