Albany Public Schools Foundation
presents the 4th Annual
Albany
Winterfest
Celebration
and Silent Auction
Saturday, February 2, 2008
South Albany High School
Doors open at 6:00 PM
Winterfest is an event that raises funds in support of Albany Public Schools student musicians. The proceeds of the funds have gone to purchase sheet music and musical instruments. Students in our community who might not otherwise have that opportunity to participate in music programs, because of personal finances, have had instruments provided for them. Greater Albany Public Schools music programs continue to participate in community events as both bands and choirs have been requested to augment celebrations at area businesses.
Business owners have the opportunity to participate in Winterfest in a number of ways.
1. Platinum Sponsorship for Winterfest is $3,000.This underwrites a significant portion of the expense of the event, and maximizes the funds that are collected through ticket sales. Platinum sponsors receive publication in all of our Winterfest events, including all of our fliers, radio announcements and the night of the event.
2. Gold Sponsorship is available at $1,000. Gold sponsors are promoted in flyers and are mentioned most during radio announcements that we do, as well as the night of the event.
3. Silver Sponsorships is available at $500. Silver sponsors are also available to businesses who would like to support Albany student musicians. Silver sponsorships will be mentioned on flyer's and during radio publicity as well as the night of the event.
Finally, any contributions that you would like to make to our silent auction would be greatly appreciated. This may be an opportunity to promote goods and services provided by your business, as well as to participate in funding the Albany Public Schools music program. If you would like to donate to the silent auction, you can contact Laurie Geissler at lmg2021@comcast.net
This year's Winterfest features the musical talents of the Dallas Brass. The evening will also feature the musical talents of Albany Public School student musicians from elementary through high school.
